At McLennan, our approach to routine transformer maintenance is focused around meeting our client’s business needs and expectations. We can offer a transformer maintenance service as a one off, or most usually, as part of our full Compliance Contract.
Our transformer Inspection and Testing program follows manufacturer’s recommendations as well as legislative requirements. We advise our customers to carry out maintenance testing of Liquid Cooled Transformers once every four years, along with this we recommend oil samples be taken annually.
We also recommend that Air Cooled Transformers are De-Energized and maintained annually.
As part of the program, we produce a Full Inspection Report detailing all findings and any recommendations for follow up works required.
